POSITION DESCRIPTION AND COMPENSATION
 
POSITION TITLE: BDC Sales Prospector
 
DEPARTMENT: Business Development                                            
 
POSITION REPORTS TO: BDC Supervisor
 
                                                                                                                                                          
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
·         Generate sales appointments.
·         Enter all data regarding inbound phone calls and internet leads into CRM immediately according to company policies and procedures.
·         Answer in-bound sales calls in a polite and professional manner by using company approved “Call Guide”.
·         Respond to Internet leads according company defined process.
·         Effectively utilize CRM, Phone systems and Lead Management tools.
·         Conduct phone surveys if need be
·         Assist in answering and re-directing calls for queues other than the primary queue.
·         Be honest in all aspects of dealing with customers.
·         Be proficient and professional in dealing with customers via telephone and email.
·         Skill in verbal communication both in person and via standard telephone.
·         Telephone skills should include general knowledge of office telephone etiquette.
·         Ability to work in call center environment.
·         Ability to organize and handle multiple tasks with flexibility.
·         Ability to thrive in a team environment and consistently display professional demeanor.
·         Ability to implement administrative procedures.
·         Ability to interpret rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
·         Assist with the completion of appropriate forms and reports that are not considered essential functions.
·         Compile all necessary reports on a timely basis.
·         Maintain a neat and orderly appearance of yourself and work areas.
·         Will follow behavioral expectations consistent with the Company’s visions/values.
·         Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
·         Always be presentable, well dressed and practice good personal hygiene.
·         Be knowledgeable about sales process, business philosophy, and products.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
 
·         High School Diploma or equivalent, PC knowledge, Internet, Spreadsheets and database knowledge.
 
·         Communication Effectiveness – The ability to effectively communicate to others within and outside of the department verbally and in writing, and effectively use the available system tools and software programs. INBOUND AND OUTBOUND PHONE SKILLS HIGHLY DESIREABLE.
 
·         Decision Making – The ability to make effective decisions utilizing and evaluate the impact of various potential courses of action.
 
·         Department Knowledge – The ability to understand and effectively apply and utilize knowledge in order to maximize customer satisfaction and sales goals.
 
·         Individual Effectiveness – The ability to take initiative and effectively apply oneself to accomplish department, team, and individual goals and objectives.
 
·         Interpersonal Effectiveness – The ability to adapt to other personalities in a respectful manner and to deal with stressful situations by effectively relating to others and maintaining self-control.
